The CAPA staff helps to keep the 1800-member organization moving. They put together the quarterly CAPA Times, process new memberships and renewals, maintain the CAPA web site, answer calls, letters and e-mails, and, of course, keep up-to-date on the happenings of the accordion world.

When CAPA first began, President Cheri Thurston was the only member of the CAPA staff who actually played the accordion. Even though all CAPA staff members were enthusiatic about the accordion, none -- besides Thurston -- had ever touched the instrument. Now, however, we can boast that over half of the CAPA staff can proudly call themselves accordionists.
