CAPA Membership

Membership in Closet Accordion Players of America (CAPA) is open to anyone who plays the accordion or whose life has been affected by an accordion player. Co-dependent spouses are welcome, as are adult children of accordion players.

A basic membership to CAPA is $12.95 and includes:

  • a membership certificate suitable for framing
  • a wallet-sized membership card
  • an accordion-pleated informational brochure
  • a button with the CAPA logo
  • a lifetime subscription to the annual CAPA Times
  • easy-to-play sheet music for the "I Hate the Beer Barrel Polka" polka (because some members joke that "anything sounds better as a polka")
